A dinner party prepared by Chef Janos Wilder, James Beard Award winner, who has also been named "Top Chef in the Southwest". The party took place at the renowned Janos Restaurant and J Bar located at 3770 E. Sunrise Drive in Tucson, Arizona on Monday November 13th during the Presidents' Conference. We will all had the opportunity to meet Chef Janos and he will personally sign his complimentary cook books.
This Mobil Four Star and AAA Four Diamond restaurant, located in the Catalina foothills, is nationally acclaimed for its French-inspired southwestern cuisine and has been among the highest rated restaurants since 1983.
Among his many awards: Zagat Survey has named Janos "Tucson's favorite restaurant" as well as "Arizona's highest rated restaurant". Janos has been rated Four Star in the Mobil Travel Guide since 1988, has achieved AAA's Four Diamond Best Award since 1993, Wine Spectator's Best Award of Excellence as well as the Award of Excellence in "Distinguished Restaurants of North America" during 1994-2000. And Tucson Lifestyle Magazine placed it in the "Top Five Tucson Restaurants".
Janos incorporates a large variety of locally grown produce in his recipes along with the finest fresh seafood, veal, pork, lamb, beef and game flown in from around the world
